Days 1-2-3: We begin in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires and cross by ferry to Colonia Del Sacramento beautifully situated on a point overlooking the Rio de la Plata. We spend two nights in this wonderful old town wandering the twisting cobblestone streets that make up Colonia.

Days 4-5-6: A short ride will see us in Uruguay's laid back capital of Montevideo where we can explore the picturesque old town with its 19th century buildings, vestiges of the beef boom era. From Montevideo we spend half a day riding to reach a wonderfully remote and scenic village of Punta Del Diablo, this little fishing village of wooden shacks and dirt streets is where we spend the next two nights enjoying the beaches and dining on seafood.

Days 7-8: We leave Uruguay and cross into Brazil. We are now in the Gaucho heartland of cowboys and massive steaks as we stay at an Estancia en-route as we ride toward Sao Miguel das Missoes. Sao Miguel is the centre piece of around 30 Jesuit missions established in the region in the early 16th century and as such has been afforded Unesco world heritage listing.

Days 9-10-11: We ride out of Sao Miguel bound for the worlds greatest waterfalls, Foz do Iguaçu. 275 falls make up an area 3ks wide and 80m high, they are higher than Niagara, wider than Victoria and more stunning than both, we guarantee you will be blown away. We spend three nights here visiting the falls from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides. A jet boat ride up to the falls, a train trip through the surrounding rainforest and a tranquil canoe trip through the Rio Iguaçu backwaters are all included as is an exciting helicopter ride over the falls themselves. In the evening we will enjoy a spectacular cabaret and equally spectacular all you can eat Churrascaria.

Days 12-13-14-15: Leaving Foz we ride east for Brazils highest city of Sao Joaquim nestled at 1355m in the Serra do Rio Rastro, we ride the stunning mountain road from Sao Joaquim to Bom Jardim do Serra through araucaria forests before descending into the Vale do Itajai and stopping at the Germanic city of Blumenau. A unique Brazilian city, Blumenau was settled by German settlers in the mid 18th century and has retained a strong German identity; it is an amazing place where we spend two nights.

Days 16-17-18-19: Next port of call, literally, is Antonina, a decaying port town scenically located on the banks of the Rio Itibere. We spend a night here allowing us time to explore the wonderful colonial old town and the beautiful Baia de Paranagua. We follow the coastline before reaching the laid back beach resort of Bertoiga where we relax with ice cold beers, chilled coconuts and seafood before riding onto the absolutely stunning Paraty. We spend two nights here enabling us to spend a day sailing around some of the 300 nearby islands or riding the bikes to some of the most stunning beaches, the choice is yours..

Days 20-21: Regarded as one of the world's greatest coastal rides we leave Paraty and ride the Costa Verde (Emerald Coast) toward Rio de Janeiro, photo opportunities abound. We reach Rio and spend an extra day here visiting all the sights that have made this one of the most recognisable cities in the world. We visit the famous beach of Copacabana and Cristo Redentor with the 38m tall and 1145 tonne statue of Christ gazing over the city. We will enjoy sunset drinks atop Pao De Azucar (Sugar Loaf Mountain) where we can get those world famous shots of Rio de Janeiro far below.
